BACH’s Key Dates and Locations for Voter Registration and Ballot Drop-Offs

As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting civic engagement, Bay Area Community Health (BACH) has confirmed a series of key dates and locations for voter registration and ballot drop-offs. These efforts are designed to make the voting process as accessible as possible for all community members.

Drop Stop Locations: Bringing Ballot Drop-Offs to the Community

BACH has partnered with the Alameda County Voter Registrar to become a Drop Stop Location. Unlike standard ballot drop boxes, Drop Stop Locations have staff on-site to assist community members with dropping off their ballots, registering to vote and voter information. The following dates have been confirmed for the Liberty and Irvington clinics:

- Liberty Clinic: Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10 AM to 4 PM

  - October 11, 12, 15, 16, 25, 26, 29, 30

  - November 1, 2

- Irvington Clinic: Sunday and Monday from 10 AM to 4 PM

  - October 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28

  - November

These Drop Stop Locations will provide a convenient and secure way for community members to submit their ballots, with staff available to assist as needed.

Supporting the Voter's Choice Act: Expanding Access and Reducing Barriers

The Voter's Choice Act (VCA) is designed to boost voter participation by making voting more convenient and accessible. It offers multiple voting options that can help close the participation gap for voters who have been historically underrepresented in elections. BACH’s efforts, including voter registration drives, integration of voting information into health services, and participation in the Drop Stop Program, all align with the goals of the VCA. By working closely with the county Elections Office and other community organizations, BACH is helping to ensure that voters understand their options and can participate fully in the democratic process.
