Hipolito Garza
Hipolito (Polo) Garza MBA, Chief Administration Services (CAS), joined Bay Area Community Health (BACH) in January 2023. Polo has over 20 years of progressive experience in the Health Care Administration Leadership industry.
He is a former CAS and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of serval organizations within the Defense Health Agency (DHA). He is currently a member of the American College of Healthcare Executive.
Polo’s career proves his commitment to provide excellent support to healthcare delivery. He has been instrumental in leading efforts in multiple projects including the conversion of a new Electronic Health Record system (Genesis), establishing a new center for Autism, and the improvement to access to care in multiply healthcare organizations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Polo established three testing and two vaccination site, providing the daily operations, equipment, and personnel support. A Texas native, Polo received his Executive Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare from Baylor University in May 2018 and is an alumnus of the University to Texas at El Paso. He served 18 years of active duty military service as a Major in the Army. Polo’s unique blend of military discipline and administrative acumen has positioned him as a tremendous leader within his profession.
