Protect Yourself and Your Family This Flu Season

Flu season is here, and getting your flu vaccine is one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect yourself, your family, and your community. Each year, seasonal influenza can lead to serious illness, missed work and school, and even hospitalization. Vaccination can lower your risk of getting the flu and may reduce the severity of illness if you do become sick.

At Bay Area Community Health, we are making it easy and convenient to get vaccinated. Community flu clinics are available throughout Alameda and Santa Clara counties, and walk-ins are welcome.

If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must provide oral or written consent before you can receive the flu vaccine. A parent or guardian should also be available by phone during the appointment in case clinic staff have any questions.

To help your visit go smoothly, please wear a short-sleeved shirt or a shirt that can be easily accessed under a sweater or jacket. Bring a government-issued ID and your health insurance card if you have them.

Ready to get vaccinated? Visit the Bay Area Community Health Flu Vaccination webpage to view clinic information.

While we accept walk-ins, we encourage you to register in advance whenever possible. Visit the clinic location that is most convenient for you and get your flu vaccine this season. Bay Area Community Health is here to help you and your family stay healthy year-round.
