Dr. Harsha Ramchandani

Dr. Harsha Ramchandani joined Bay Area Community Health, then called Tri-City Health Center, in April 2015. Dr. Ramchandani is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with more than a decade of experience working in community and outpatient healthcare. At Bay Area Community Health (BACH), Dr. Ramchandani manages clinical teams in both Santa Clara and Alameda counties. As the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ramchandani works with neighboring hospitals and medical teams to improve care continuity, helping BACH become a leading patient-centered medical home in the Bay Area. Believing in health care equity, Dr. Ramchandani has improved healthcare access by utilizing mobile clinics for the area’s most vulnerable patients.

Dr. Ramchandani is at the forefront of BACH’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic by initiating and organizing testing and vaccination clinics in Alameda and Santa Clara counties. Dr. Ramchandani helped BACH transition into telehealth as it became more difficult for patients to come to their clinic appointments. Dr. Ramchandani is a member of the California Medical Association, California Primary Care Association, American Medical Association, Association of Clinicians for the Underserved, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, and Integrated Healthcare Association. Dr. Ramchandani’s education includes Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India – Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.D. Equivalent); Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India – Residency (Internal Medicine); and Sinai Grace Hospital, Detroit Medical Center / Wayne State University, Michigan – Residency (Internal Medicine).
