Our History is a Celebration
In 2020, Tri-City Health Center (TCHC) reached an incredible milestone as it celebrates 50 years providing quality healthcare to uninsured and underserved families in Fremont and the surrounding tri-city areas. Founded in 1970, TCHC started in Newark as a family clinic for low-income minority women living in southern Alameda County.
Learn More About THCH’s History
In summer 2020, during the COVID-19 global pandemic, Foothill Community Health Center (FCHC) and Tri-City Health Center (TCHC) merged into Bay Area Community Health (BACH). The organization is now one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers in Northern California.
TCHC’s 50th Anniversary Virtual Gala celebration coincides with National Health Center Week. Bay Area Community Health will highlight its weeklong activities and events leading up to the 50th Anniversary Virtual Gala celebration on Saturday, August 15th. Please check out what we’re doing!
